Computer and Audio-Visual Equipment: All requests for computer and audio-visual equipment are to be directed to Purchasing. The Purchasing Department and Information Technology Services will recommend equipment that will satisfy the department need and may request assistance from other university departments to review space and structural adequacy, environmental requirements, power, safety, security, and code compliance matters. Departments must take reasonable precautions to protect computer equipment from damage and theft.
Copying, Duplicating and Printing Equipment
Domestic preferences for procurement: As appropriate and to the extent consistent with law, the University should, to the greatest extent practicable under a Federal award, provide a preference for the purchase, acquisition, or use of goods, products, or materials produced in the United States.
